MICHAEL CONNELL
It is not often that a comedian gets on stage after only two or three gigs and kicks ass the way Michael Connell did at the S&G last wednesday night. For someone who claims to have only a few gigs under his belt he has a touch of professionalism that left a few old timers in the audiences rethinking there approach to comedy. later I discovered that Michael actually has his own radio show on community air and has actually written for one well known standup artist the performance than came as no shock. After hearing this it seemed perfectly natural to assume that the guy would be good.
Although he tells us he has lots of material the act on wednesday revolved around getting ants out of his house and was very funny something we don't often hear original material that works first time.

We see big things in the future for young Michael and will be keeping a close eye on his progress he appears again at the commercial lounge just after Xmas so catch him if you can.
